[Mello rarely sleeps, although he did the night before mostly do to exhaustion. It's lucky he didn't actually go to bed as otherwise he'd have woken up naked on someone's cold floor rather than in a pair of skinny jeans. He sits bolt up right reaching for his gun (which was left in his room.) They're in a bedroom. Emmett's bedroom to be precise. He stares at his cuff, then down the line, hot anger shaking him and reddening his face.]

Alright, who wants to explain what the fuck is going on here!?

There's a goddamned narrator. That means there's someone or something else in this house!

[And God knows what that means, but Mello's intrigued/anxious. His eyes go wide as he's thinking this all over. What would the narrator be? What would they do? What would it mean? In this twisted "story" universe what did it imply?]

If that is your conclusion, Detective, I will not dispute it.

[A quiet smile. He's juuuust a servant. He's not going to disagree with someone of higher stature.]

[He'd be using stronger words but he's not sure it would end well for either of them]

[The grin widens and he bows his head to Mello. Strange, that an expression of submission could seem so full of derision.]

[He says nothing to this. Merely raises his head and waits for the others to make a decision.]
