Tomorrow Never Knows Best :: 009 :: Samejima Mamimi :: [In Person]
[Mamimi is bundled up and breathing harshly through her aching lungs. She's sitting close to the fire, so close it's almost as if she's considering touching it. But for the first time in hours she's pulled her gaze away from the fire and is looking intently on her lighter. Her gloved fingers are slipping clumsily over the Zippo but it will not ignite. It's not the fault of her gloves, the internal mechanism has frozen solid. However, Mamimi is not about to give up. Unlit cigarette between her lips, she holds the lighter at nose height so she has to cross her eyes to watch it as it clicks, sputters, and fails]

Matched work better.
[He's never seen tobacco used in this way but he has seen pipes before.]
What is that anyway?
[He slowly sat down to her right and he appeared curious.]

My chest hurts.
[She half mutters it, as if trying to excuse herself with her hands clasped to her chest]

It tastes something terrible but it should help as long as you drink it down hot.
[He took his seat again and has a cup of his own.]

What is it?

[He took a drink of his own and coughed.]
Blah...mother's remedies were awful stuff but it works.
[He keeps coughing until he spits what was in his lungs into the fire.]
Blah....

[She swirls the drink's contents]
Are you sure it's not poisonous?

[He grins widely.]

[He takes out the vodka and pours a little in her cup and then in his.]
That'll help with the pain.

[He drinks his down as if it was just another drink. Even though it's disgusting, he was used to things tasting strange.]

[She has to hold her noise before she can take another sip]

Mamimi?
[He crouches down beside her and lets out a weary sigh. Holding forth a small flame, just a mere remnant of it's previous glory.]
[In Person]
[Mamimi is too cold to move much let alone throw herself into a bow. She looks at the flame with wide thankful eyes]
Oh thank you, my Lord! Thank you!!
[In Person]
Are you still too cold?
[He winces as he casts another fire spell, but this time a little bit more powerful, especially as he's starting to feel the cold again.]
[In Person]
I feel perfect, Kuja-sama.
[And at the moment she -is- feeling warm, but it's a warmth that's coming form the inside out.]
[In Person]
I'm curious as to how you have managed this considering our current setting.
[The Genome slumps forwards with a large frown, resting his head on his hand. When he gets tired he gets grumpy. And right now it's a royal pain in the rear.]
[In Person]
[Mamimi thinks about what she's going to say to her Lord the Angel of Destruction.]
My chest hurts. It's hard to breathe. My skin feels like it's on fire sometimes. And nothing's working.
[None of her lighters that is. And now her camera is frozen too. She casts a look in the direction of the Canon, her eyes are almost pleading. She feels a sting of anxiety, worrying what will happen to the film inside the camera.]
[In Person]
How can you then claim to be perfect? I don't understand.
[Then again since when had Mamimi made any sense to him at all?]
[In Person]
[In Person]
...I see...
[He doesn't understand these people goddamnnit.]
[In Person]
How do you feel, Kuja-sama?
[In Person]
Tired. The only way I can stay sufficiently warm is with my magic and it drains me with such a constant use. I just want to go back to the manor. I feel disgusting.
[How long had it been now without a shower? He didn't even want to think of what everyone else was like.]
[In Person]
It'll be alright, Kuja-sama.
[In Person]
The sooner this is over the better...
Tell me when the flame is gone Mamimi..I'll cast another once it's disappeared.

[In Person]
No rest for the wicked as usual.]
