[The feed kicks on for the second time in two days - and the Blackberry is very obviously situated on one of the tables in the study, giving a good view of him sitting in one of the chairs facing the door. The bookcases might be shifted a little to make access to the air vents difficult, but besides a slight air of annoyance, he's behaving perfectly calm and controlled.]

[Pride, disdain for the idea that a change of scenery was an obstacle, dismissal of any care that the local rules might be different - why, even if Aoko hadn't said anything, he may've ended up a target the first time he got back to trying to work to maintain order.]

[There were quite a few dangerous people in the Manor - but this? This was adding another to the incredibly short list of people that were more in line with his usual targets... and damned if there wasn't some stupid part of his psyche that was perfectly happy for the actual challenge - he was good at diplomacy, he preferred bringing order and avoiding unneeded conflict, but he'd be lying if he said there wasn't an element of bored frustration without a challenge closer to what he'd raised himself to.]

I suppose I'll have to be watching my step then; I do have my own ideas about what I plan to be doing with myself, and I've never been good at the role of prey.

All targets always do, I've heard every excuse not to kill someone, there's rarely a new one. But you're misunderstanding me, Detective. You're different, when and if I decide to take your life if you're any as good as I think you are in wit then die knowing you weren't prey and a challenge instead.
