Well, this seems to be a strange occurrence. I appear to have found myself far away from the hotel I fell asleep in.

I have to say: The technology is easy enough to figure out. Even though it is far more detailed and intriguing than I am accustomed to. I take
it this is some form of communication network.

Is there anyone out there that can give me answers? I promise I won’t take too much of your time.

Oh, Charles. There have been moments, of course, but the company here has been rather lacking and most of the time we're lounging about, waiting for the Author's latest insane whim to strike us. The Author being the one who controls this dimension we're in. Charming, really.

Much. I won't presume to know everything, since you could be from an alternate reality. But I am from the year 2007. I know that you founded the X-Men, that Magneto has given you trouble over the years, how the X-Men have influenced world history...

[It's very odd to see their roles reversed, with Charles the younger, less experienced one and Emma the elder. His powers may not even be as developed and honed now as they are from when Emma knows him. Now that would be interesting.]

I do need to find a way to return, though. I don't think Erik and Moira can handle the children on their own. *Erik's too.....'too' to take care of them, and Moira wouldn't even know where to start. Even worse, neither of them could work Cerebro.*

To put it lightly, a bloody mess. Best I've been able to figure out, we, along with several other individuals from other universes, are stuck in a pocket dimension under the control of an individual known as 'The Author'. She is more or less a petty teenage god writing a story about us.
