[There's an open door in the manor that really should lead to some godforsaken utility closet! Instead, it's open to a fairly hot summer day, with a bright blue, cloudless sky. There's a smell of smoke and black powder to the air in some areas, but it is generally a nice enough day. Honestly, it's kind of eerie! There's a winding path with greenery around it, forming a giant spiral shape leading to a giant tower with an even larger clock in the center of it.

If you look for people, there is exactly one, and she is on the roof of a whitewashed, two-story cottage with a thatched roof and a few outbuildings. There's a cloth spread out under her, and she is very obviously soaking up the sun. Anyone who knows Tris might see a few telltale signs of discontent- and Briar will most assuredly be able to tell that Tris is shaken.

But it's not nearly as bad as it could be. Enjoy your walled temple community visit!

[Tris is outside, keeping her eyes closed as wind moves around her. She's pretty comfortable, except... well, except for one thing that's bothering her a bit like a burr stuck in her skirt.

She can sense Briar... and then she can sense Briar's body, and whoever's in it. Needless to say, this does not make her very happy.

Bother the weather-witch at your own peril... at least she's in her own body.

[Tris had decided to go clothes shopping, and after looking on her blackberry for where some likely-looking clothes stores would be, she sent off messages to the people they'd be meeting. Well, at least she'd be meeting.]

I don't suppose you'd be interested in exploring Venice after I take care of something needful, would you? [Not that she's interested in having a companion in a strange city oh gods no whatever gave you that idea.]

Is there anywhere with medical supplies, or, better, someone with experience stitching up wounds about?

...Soma, about that chat I was asking for? Can we have it in my room? [Tris's voice sounds... ragged at best, and rather like she's trying to keep control of her tone and failing.]

I cannot believe I actually had to make this post.

If there is anyone who does not feel safe with a serial killer on the loose, any young children or those charged with their care, I plan on creating a shelter of sorts in an area of the manor. I am a mage, and I can create barriers that will stop both magical threats and physical ones. Anyone who is not throwing an immature temper tantrum over being stuck here is welcome. [Her tone is sort of scathing on that last bit.]

I nearly tripped across a body in the library. He appears to have been murdered, and I've sealed off the crime scene.

The aid of anyone who could help find the killer, by means magic or mundane, would be appreciated.

[Tris is slinking around at an absolutely ridiculous hour of morning- she's enjoying being able to do so again- and stopping in front of Soma's door. She's got a makeshift bag she's dragging along, and she's stacking things against Soma's door. It's all her leftover plushies. She's piling them as high as the door is tall, with the help of a step-stool. ...And she's going to pile it as deep as possible and wait a bit further down the hall. :D]

It's very difficult to make your way out to do anything needful when you have two useless limbs and are buried in a pile of what appears to be animal dolls. [Tris sounds disgruntled and annoyed.]

Soma?

...can I get some help over here? I think the healers are occupied. [Tris is looking a little... frazzled is the best word.] I appear to be in a hotel near 'Rockefeller Center'.

[Well, this is something she might've been looking forward to in Namorn, before everything else that had happened there. She is a weather-witch, after all, and weather she's not experienced in person is interesting. She's never been in any place where it's snowed, so she's going to bundle up and go outside in it!]

[And there's a slight breeze stirring up some of the snow around her. She's just gonna stand over ---> this way and hold her hands out for it.]

[There is a very beat-up redhead who might look familiar to some people. She's bandaged up, but her injuries are different from the ones she received in the assault. She has her glasses off, and sounds slightly drugged and groggy.]

Is this thing working? I hope so. I would like to know why I'm not in Namorn, or, failing that, where the nearest healer is. [Her body still has a lot of healing to do from that bounce down the stairs Ladyhammer gave her.]

[There is a portion of Paris that is very windy all of a sudden, with a very small calm spot right in the middle, and a figure absolutely covered in lightning in the center of it. It appears she's attracted a good number of Kishin, and is doing her best to fight them off. Some of her braids have obviously been let down, most glaringly both of the ones framing her face. Anyone who can sense magic nearby can probably feel it on the very fast, powerful winds swirling around her.]

I warned you to stop!

[This is not Thairos. For one thing, it's raining. She practically had to fight to get the normal storms to come to Thairos. For another, she woke up in what seems to be an inn that is far more opulent than even her famous teacher would stay at. Also, the lighting here is exceedingly odd.]

[There's very little chance she could have gotten kidnapped (and to what end, especially if she's unbound and has nobody watching her. So Tris is going to go out and see if she can't find the lay of this strange city. This starts with her keeping the rain off of her and walking out of the hotel. She is On A Mission To Explore This Place, and she is Not Happy about it.]

[Congrats, Paris, you now have one grumpy, confused, red-headed weather witch standing under what appears to be an invisible glass dome that sheds the rain, and she's stalking your streets like she's mad at you! Which she kind of is.]
