Conan Edogawa - Case 030 - [In Person]
[Conan is angrily playing soccer by a wall he can kick the ball into when he so feels the need. He's not a happy camper and this happens to be his way of blowing off steam.
Every time the soccer ball comes back he kicks it right back at the wall- he's so wrapped up in blowing off steam he's not really aware of anything going around him right now]

But that's not what I meant.

You know I'd talked to him maybe twenty minutes at most before you ran into him.
no subject
I tried to walk right past him but he started following me so I ran-of course I wasn't fast enough.
no subject
And he recognized me as the international detective and the police chief's son.
That's what it'd looked like; honestly as agitated as he was, and with him having seen you interfering, that was a lot of bad luck and bad timing, in a bad place for it to happen.
no subject
Y-Y You...you're probably now on the black list.

And after that conversation, I turned my back to him as I walked away.
And you know that I wasn't harmed.
no subject
Again, you didn't get recognized for blowing up the black hawk.

He may be in the running for the second most terrifying person I've ever met, but he's a predator - and I'm used to dealing with predators.
And I'm well aware that I wouldn't have been able to approach him so easily if he knew there was a reason to target me.
no subject
...
-Why are we even talking about this?
no subject
Because he's the reason for a lot of that.
And because for the time being, we're not dealing with a "them", we're dealing with a "him", and even if he can't kill us for good here, he can make our lives very difficult, and he can be very vindictive.

I'm a little bit more then upset right now.
no subject
I was trying not to say that you were panicking.

I-
[hold on a second-he needs to make sure the area's secure]

Isn't it a little late for that? [Why yes, he has been fully aware that you haven't thought about that once in this conversation.]
no subject
no subject
If I hadn't actually been minding that before I approached you, and he had been listening, it would've been "too late".
no subject
I didn't think you'd be stupid enough to start a conversation like this with him in ear-shot.
no subject
[Yeah, you answered his question.]
no subject
But I'm not exactly used to looking over my shoulder every fucking five seconds.
no subject
Do you know what happens when you get afraid enough to stop thinking in front of a predator?
no subject
You freeze up you miss your opportunity to escape or catch them.
