It seems the Author has taken measures into her own hands in regards to my birthday what a pleasant surpri-

[Mukuro's face twitches a bit and his neck goes a bit rigid when he spots the cake, of course the culture reference is lost on him, but the prominent pineapple is not. He is WELL VERSED in the joke about his hair. He looks up towards the ceiling as if that was a direct link to the Author]

My dearest Author~ I do believe this joke has gotten rather old. You wouldn't want someone to challenge your taste in humor now would you?

[He looks down at the camera again, having regained his composure, though his smile never left his face]

If someone would like the cake please feel free to come and take it. I have no use for it.

[And he turns to leave the room, turning off the blackberry.]

So you see, there was no human effort put into the cake, and yes, as I said it's all yours if you wish. It's rather childish for my tastes.

... nah, Pinoko doesn't want to do magic. Pinoko likes putting all her love into Doc's food. [Have a syrupy sweet smile.] 'Cause Pinoko loves him and it'd feel like a cheat!

... Pinoko DEFINITELY wouldn't mind taking that cake off your hands, though!

Kufufufu, well that depends on where you are from. There are people from many different worlds here, and magic may exist in some of them. But as far as the Author's powers are concerned, I'm honestly not sure what to make of them.

[But he wants them]

She has control over this entire plain of existence, and can will whatever she wants into it.

[He chuckles at the innocent child-like fixation on the cake. Ah, if he were a normal person she would be melting his heart... but alas, he's thinking of ways to use her as a hostage...]

It is in one of the smaller rooms at the end of the hall. I'll stand outside the door, to make it easier for you.

[Mukuro paused and goes slightly rigid once again. Was... whoever that was HONESTLY trying to pass off as him? they had it all wrong! It was an insult to his image to be impersonated so poorly!]

If you are trying to imitate me, then you are doing a TERRIBLE job. First, I part my hair starting on the other side. Second, I would never wear a jacket where the threads are all out line. Lastsly, those boots are filthy and scuffed, I would never have my appearance look so... unkempt.

[Of course these are all VERY MINOR things only HE would notice, in his perfect image... and for the record he has made EVERY Mukuro cosplayer cry at one point or another this week... at least ONCE]

[He takes in a slow long deep breath, trying to ease the irritated tension building in his stiffened shoulders, but to no avail. This person didn't appear to have any inclination to drop the 'poor' impersonation of him at all...]

If you cannot pull of an imitation perfectly, then you have no right imitating.

[He begins to circle his impersonator like a vulture. This was OBVIOUSLY no illusion. If it were he would have already been able to dispel it by now. But that begs the question how they were getting his eye and voice... but especially his eye. There is no one alive who could replicate it, and the idea of a contact lens made in it's likeness was sickening enough to make him want to vomit]

So tell my, my little doppel ganger, how is it you seem to have mimicked my eye? I'm positive I am the only one who possesses such an eye...

Teru-chan? Ah, the older fellow I spoke with the other day! It is quite a week for birthdays isn't it? Apparently I am not the only one celebrating a birthday as well. There's another boy, his name escapes me at the moment though.
