Mary Winchester | 11 | [Action/Video]
[Mary was more than ready for a normal (or semi normal) day. Seeing that there was no need to worry for anyone here and the boys were enjoying themselves...she decided to actually go and enjoy herself for a change. Especially after the last plot, she was pleased to see that there was actual food here. After a day of shopping, dancing, and general sight seeing, she was ready to relax at a local pub for a bit. Setting up at a table out of the way, Mary was enjoying some chicken, bread pudding...and you guessed it. Beer. It may not have been a relaxing tea or white wine, but she could hold her own as far as alcohol went.
Raising her hand to get the bartenders attention, she motioned to her empty mug, her voice carrying over the noise in the pub.]
Another.
[Waiting on her beer, she was already planning what else she'd be doing...perhaps she'd just turn in and relax in her room after this. Well, that was the plan if nothing more interesting came along.
She still hadn't noticed the feed was on and even if she did...she probably wouldn't care. She was having fun for the first time in what felt like ages and she wouldn't let anyone ruin it for her.]

[In Person]
Seeing someone he recognizes, he makes his way down the crowded pub to Mary.]
Hello there. Enjoying yourself?
no subject
In abundance~
And yourself? I know that I can't be the only one taking advantage of the festivities~.
no subject
I find this wonderful. I've had plenty of drinks before back home, but this, this...
[He takes a sip of his beer.]
I've never had anything quite like this, and I find myself quite enjoying it. This entire culture seems wonderful.
no subject
[Accepting the new beer from the bartender, she nodded in thanks.]
This culture is more than wonderful after this hellish month. It's a godsend is what it is.
But I better not hear that you haven't even left the pub~. As good as this is, there are more exciting aspects that the alcohol.

[He leans closer to her and drops his voice to a dramatic whisper.]
I am not one to judge, but I do find their clothing a bit strange.
[He straightens, and gives her a wink before taking another sip of his beer.]
I've only just arrived at this pub! Er, relatively speaking, but I have seen much more of this festival, and I intend to see more later. Perhaps you'd care to join me?
no subject
[Tilting her head when he leaned in, his words caused her to chuckle into her beer. Strange or not, she could overlook it as long as things stayed this amazing.]
Look on the bright side, at least we're not having to dress like them~.
[Raising a brow at his suggestion, she nods after a moment. She had been planning on relaxing after all this, but who was she to deny such a request?]
I would love to. As fun as this is, I imagine it can only get better with real company, hmm?
no subject
[He takes another long sip and sighs happily.]
I know this will not last, but I wish it would. This has been very pleasant.

[The relaxing atmosphere, how helpful the false people had been. She wouldn't want it to last forever though, she rather enjoyed the quietness of the manor.]
I'm almost ready to go back to the manor though...as long as nothing tries to kill us. As soon as we're back, I think I'm going to sleep for a month.

Hey. [A shy smile.] I think your blackberry's watching you. Not sure that you meant it to.
no subject
Ah, thank you. It tends to do that at the oddest times, I'm not really sure why.
no subject
I don't really know anything about it, but I didn't intend to be...visually eavesdropping. Are you from the manor?
no subject
I know you didn't, it's just something that happens from time to time. There's nothing to worry about.
Mm. I am. I suppose that means you are as well...and since you didn't know that bit about the phones, it must mean that you haven't been there for long.
no subject
I haven't. Phones? I thought it was called a BlackBerry.
[That's what it says on it, after all.]
no subject
I was confused as well at first. It seems that Blackberry is a type of phone or something to that effect. I've heart it called both, but honestly...phone is less confusing for me.
no subject
...It's certainly not a fruit. That I'm sure of.
no subject
No...no it's not.
Okay, so...you're from somewhere without phones apparently?
It's just a device you use to talk with people over distances. Granted, the ones I'm used to aren't quite this advanced.

Well, it would have been a great idea anyway, but it certainly wouldn't have taken as long. eventually, he found it. He ordered his next drink, and came and sat next to her with a grin.]
This place is awesome.
no subject
As he sat beside her, she returned his grin with a smile.]
When I woke up, I certainly wasn't expecting this...not that I'm complaining~. [She waved in thanks at the bartender as a fresh drink was set in front of her.] Thank you.

I can drink to that. [He chuckles] What've you done today?
no subject
[Almost. As fun as this was, it would get boring after a while.]
What about you? Tell me that you haven't just been drinking all day.

You should at least see some of the sights around town. There's more to this place than bar wenches in low blouses. [Yes, she knew the sights you've been enjoying.]
